The client wanted a inclusive, inter generational house for the whole family ,including his sister who is diagnosed with MS. The building is oriented around the large elm in the courtyard creating a central gathering space.The client's family is oriented towards the east while the second floor overlooks the enclosed garden. The third floor has the roof terrace with homeoffice looking over the planters on the roof. The project aims to be netzero passive house or stepcode 4 with prefabricated masstimber construction for speed of construction and quality.
